About Us

It is widely recognised that single use plastic packaging presents a significant long term risk to sustainability and the global environment. And with millions of tonnes of plastic being buried in landfill or dumped into our oceans each year, this issue is at a tipping point.

Our founding team got together to address this growing imbalance and set out (several years ago) to find a solution.

We understand the connection between the health of our planet and the impact of single-use plastics and believe that recycling, responsible disposal and a variety of other solutions are not the answer. They are only addressing the symptoms.

We believe the real answer is to directly address the cause of the issue and eliminate the plastic altogether.

So that is what we have done.  And we established Envirobalance in 2018 to bring this solution to the world.

Our Zero Plastic packaging uses only natural and sustainable materials and is 100% biodegradable, compostable and recyclable.

And being a cost effective high barrier food grade solution, it is suitable for use across a wide range of food and non-food applications.

From the very beginning, our vision has been to see zero plastic packaging on every supermarket shelf and in every home around the world.  And we have been focussed on finding a sustainable solution and proving that (technically) it works.

We have. And it does.

And now, our mission is to prove that there is a simple, sustainable and commercially viable alternative to plastic right now and to inspire the positive change needed to make it available to the world.

How It Works

Please Help Us

"...Industries and Governments around the world are not doing enough..."

We need to get our message out there and tell the world that the technology needed to manufacture viable alternatives to plastic are available right now.

But Industry and Governments around the world are not doing enough to meet the global plastics challenge and make the changes needed.

So please follow us on social media and share our messages with your family, friends and colleagues.

Together, the more people we reach, the sooner the change will happen.

Thank you.
